Trailer power for Scottish Hydro

Power Electrics Generators
The standby-power capabilities of Scottish Hydro Electric has been boosted with over 40 trailer generators supplied by Power Electrics Generators.

Scottish Hydro Electric has boosted its fleet of trailer generators with the addition of over 40 units from Power Electrics Generators. These 3-phase units have outputs from 33 to 100 kVA and can operate in 3-phase, split-phase, set-to-set synchronising and set-to-mains synchronising modes.

The trailers are designed to operate with all Scottish Hydro vehicles used in this type of activity. They have synchronised cable reels and are fuel efficient and easy to operate.

All the generators have long-run bunded base tanks to comply with requirements of the Scottish water authorities. Galvanised sound-attenuated enclosures make these generators suitable for use in residential areas.
