Altecnic TRV achieves A for efficiency

Altecnic, TRV

Altecnic’s Ecocal thermostatic radiator valve has achieved the European A efficiency rating, having been tested against the requirements of the European Valve Manufacturers’ Association ‘Thermostatic efficiency label’ (TELL). Designed for retro-fit and new installations, Ecocal is available in 8, 10 and 15 mm sizes. A serrated tail piece makes for easy installation to avoid alterations to pipework and ensure PTFE sealant bonds securely.

The straight or angled device has a fully reversible body for vertical or horizontal installation. It can be installed on flow or return pipework.

There are matching lockshield valves. A positive off position enables a radiator to be removed without draining the system.
