Digital ballasts provide control and efficiency

Tridonic, lighting ballast

Tridonic’s PCA range of one4all ballasts for fluorescent lighting comprises three products combining flexibility, optimised performance and exceptional energy efficiency. These ballasts incorporate the company’s Xitec processor to optimise lamp management and extend lamp life through a combination of preheating lamp electrodes, ensuring a sufficiently high ignition voltage, limiting the discharge current and delivering a defined hot restart.

The Basic ballasts have DSI dimming to provide a cost-effective energy-saving solution for T5 and T5 lamps. They can dim down to 10% of full output and work with a plug-in daylight sensor.

Eco ballasts are compatible with digital dimming using DSI or DALI interfaces with dimming down to 1%. They are compatible with Tridonic’s plug-in digital daylight sensor.

Excel ballasts feature DSI or DALI digital dimming and support Tridonic’s intelligent plug that enables the commissioning engineer to back up the ballast memory. These ballasts also support a multi-function plug-in sensor that provides daylight control, presence detection and infra-red override.

All versions are available with corridor-linked lighting control.
