PTC control modes for fire and smoke dampers

A range of proportional torque control modes (PTC) is available for use with Actionair smoke and fire dampers.
Actionair has introduced proportional torque control (PTC) for its fire and smoke dampers. The new modes will release dampers in 20 s, and powered reset takes just a minute. Standard PTC modes incorporate electric thermal release with integral fail-safe devices that confirm correct installation in the ductwork. A green LED gives visual confirmation that the mode actuator is receiving power and the thermal fuse is intact. The control range offers every level of control sophistication from simple closed/open units to models with a third control position for volume control when extracting smoke.
