Effective dirt separation

Altecnic’s Dirtmag magnetic dirt separator for piped systems continuously filters both magnetic and non-magnetic particles. These devices are available for vertical and horizontal configuration, with or without a tailored insulation jacket. Both fit a full range of pipe sizes, and the horizontal system can have a Minical air vent added to it.

A powerful external magnet belt pulls magnetic particles against the sides of the Dirtmag chamber, keeping them away from costly components such as boilers and pumps.

The design and shape of the body creates an area of low pressure just above the filter chamber, reducing flow velocity and allowing all particles (metallic and non-metallic) to drop out of suspension. Non-metallic particles are then trapped in the internal stainless-steel gauze filter.

Unclipping the external magnetic belt allows the metallic particles to fall to the bottom of the integral drain trap so they can be flushed away. Dirtmag can be maintained without shutting down the system.
