Reducing electricity consumption

Marshall-Tufflex, voltage optimiser, power monitor

Marshall-Tufflex has produced literature outlining how electrical contractors can offer commercial and domestic customers solutions to reduce electricity bills and carbon emissions. The ‘Energy saving products’ brochure lists three systems designed to reduce electricity bills.

The first is Voltis Home, a domestic voltage-optimisation system that can achieve power savings of up to 18%.

Sinergy e-Tracker is a portable kWh sub-metering system that analyses power supply to show patterns of demand over an hour, day, week or month. It uses clip-on current transformers.

Sinergy kWattch is a portable mains- or battery operated energy analyser that can measure single- or 3-phase devices to give instant readings or record and store data for downloading to a USB memory stick.
