Vaillant heats new mosque

Vaillant, boiler, space heating
These Vaillant condensing boilers have been installed in one of the largest mosques in Europe.

One of the largest mosques in West Yorkshire is heated by two Vaillant floor-standing ecoCRAFT VKK120 condensing boilers. The Masjid-e-Umar in Savile Town, Dewsbury, can accommodate over 300 worshippers, hosting the five daily prayers, funerals and school visits.

Shabir Patel, President at the mosque, selected EnviroHeat, an installer based in Wakefield, to install the Vaillant heating system.

James Berry, who installed the boiler system, said, ‘I’m familiar with Vaillant products and I have worked with them quite a few times now. It’s usually commercial systems that we install, and we’ve never had any real problems as the products are great to work with.’

The two boilers will run from a Vaillant VRC630 boiler-management system and a uniSTOR310 cylinder. The elders at the mosque requested a tamper-proof system, which made the job slightly more challenging than the average installation.
