Sudlows helps Vertex reduce energy usage

Sudlows has won a £130 000 electrical contract to upgrade the electrical infrastructure to the Bolton office of customer management outsourcer Vertex. The work will help the company to continue to deliver leading services while reducing energy usage.

The upgrade includes a complete overhaul of the existing infrastructure and will provide new energy-efficient lighting, air conditioning, amendments to the mains power and LV distribution, security and access systems. The latest uninterruptible-power-supply technology will also be commissioned.

John Osborne, electrical manager with Sudlows, said, ‘This is the latest major electrical project we have successfully delivered for Vertex in the UK, and this vital upgrade will significantly reduce their total energy usage.’
