Flow regulator receives formal industry approval

Altecnic, flow regulator, water saving

Altecnic reports that its Calflow Plus water-saving device is the first flow regulator to be recommended under the water-efficient labelling scheme of the Bathroom Manufacturers’ Association. This patented device is also WRAs approved and carries the Waterwise marque. It can regulate water flow to about 6 l/min and incorporates a filtration mesh that helps prevent debris entering and damaging valves.

It is estimated that installing Calflow Plus can reduce utilities bills by as much as £100 a year by saving around 9125 l of water per person.

The device is quick and easy to install. As well as flow regulation, it also aids even distribution in a multi-outlet new build and can regulate water flow from 2 to 18 l/min, operating at an inlet pressure of up to 8 bar.
