HE Simm wins student accommodation jobs

Four student-accommodation contracts awarded to HE Simm are worth over £13 million. They are for full MEP services on projects in London, Leeds, Liverpool and Oxford. The company also works across the commercial, leisure, retail and healthcare sectors.

Works begins in October (2012) on 7400 m2 of accommodation for Downing Construction in North Acton.

The project at the University of Liverpool for Ocon Construction is the second phase which HE Simm has worked on. It will provide 1259 student bedrooms over three blocks and is set for completion in July 2014.

Pochin Construction has appointed the company for the MEP works involved in remodelling the Leodis 3 student accommodation in Leeds. The 311-room scheme will be completed by August 2013.

The fourth project is for Multibuild and involves a 112-bedroom scheme at Cowley Road in Oxford. Work begins in October 2012.
