Research into the effects of climate change at Plymouth University will be support by a dual-compartment cold room designed an built by J & E Hall. It required specialist lighting, ventilation and close control of temperature, and features the work of Nobel Prize winner and world-renowned conservation specialist Prof. Camille Parmesan.

She is carrying out research into the effects of climate change on plants and insects. The project proved to be one of the most unusual tackled by the company and is described by Simon Pillinger, sales and application engineer for the south west, as ‘ a job with a difference’.
