Merchants take on biomass boilers

Two major plumbing and heating merchants have added Windhager biomass heating boilers into their catalogues. They are Plumb Center, part of the Wolseley Group, and PTS, part of the Travis Perkins Group.

Oliver Duckworth, Windhager’s UK managing director, says, ‘This move widens the market to plumbing and heating engineers and installers and recognises that biomass has become a popular method of heating the house over fossil fuels. We are working closely with these merchants on training, product information and informing installers more and more about the technology.’
