Siemens doubles its training in BEMS and KNX

Siemens Building Technologies division is doubling its training programme and now offers training from its Manchester office, in addition to its base at Frimley. In 2012, the division provided more than a thousand man days of training for its approved solutions partners. The training covers BEMSs and the KNX protocol.

All training is conducted by highly experienced staff from the Siemens Building Technologies division in state-of-the-art facilities.

Ian Ellis, marketing manager for UK control product and systems, explains, ‘We offer these training course free of change to our approved solution partners to keep them up to date on the latest developments in the industry and to ensure they continue to develop and hone their own skills. This in turn leads to improved levels of commissioning and installation and, therefore, buildings that are more energy efficient.

‘Working with our partners in this way also allows us to gain a valuable insight into the day-to-day challenges they encounter, which we use to enhance further courses and to inform product development.’
