Anderson Green opens new office in Sheffield

Building-services consultancy Anderson Green has set up an office in Sheffield to complement its existing office in Nottingham. The company was established 11 years ago and now employs 50 people across the two offices providing MEP design, BREEAM, estimating and compliance services. The Sheffield office is located in the Lower Don Valley area providing good links to the city centre and the M1 motorway.

Director Jason McDonald tells us that one of the reasons for opening the new office was to open up another pool of professional resource. With an increasing number of staff in Nottingham commuting longer distances the decision to open a local Sheffield office was a relatively simple one. Jason McDonald himself has worked in the construction industry within Sheffield for over 22 years.

Among major projects are the G Park distribution centre in Staffordshire, the first logistics development in the world to be awarded a BREEAM ‘Outstanding rating’, the £6.5 million Energy Technology Building for Nottingham University and Trafalgar One; the only residential address on Trafalgar Square.
