Daikin Europe launches range of indoor units

Daikin Europe, VRV air conditioning

New indoor units for Daikin Europe’s Sky Air and VRV commercial air-conditioning systems delivers stylish new designs with improved energy efficiency. Features to improve energy efficiency include upgraded heat exchangers, DC fan motors, new drain pumps, automatic adjustment of air flow to the required load and individual flap control.

The range includes a 4-way-blow suspended cassette (pictured). The redesigned ceiling-mounted range is described as an ideal solution for commercial spaces up to 3.5 m high and with little or no ceiling voids. Previous ranges need separate expansion-valve boxes, but these have been incorporated into the new units, making them quicker and cheaper to install.

Other new products include ceiling-suspended units with improved seasonal efficiency and low energy consumption, thanks to a DC fan motor and drain pump.

There are also 2-way-blow ceiling-mounted cassettes and a small concealed unit for hotel bedrooms and small offices.

All Sky Air and VRV indoor units can be linked to Daikin’s intelligent Touch Manager (iTM), which offers an intuitive user interface with a visible floor plan. It can manage up to 2560 indoor units.
