Armacell produces self-seal pipe insulation in Oldham

Armacell, pipe insulation

The self-adhesive tube version of elastomeric pipe insulation Class 0 Armaflex is now being produced and supplied from Armacell’s factory in Oldham. New production lines and expertise have been brought in house for applying the self-adhesive strips and tapes to ensure greater control over quality, stock levels and lead times for future supplies.

This pipe insulation is fully slit along the length of each tube, with two strips of double-sided self-adhesive tap pre-applied to both slit surfaces. The cost and time of installation is reduced by up to 30%.There are four insulation thickness from 9 to 25 mm for pipe diameters from 15 to 89 mm to provide condensation control, frost protection and prevent heat losses.
