Lennox sales manager kicks into international action

Marty Wilson, a regional sales manager with Lennox, has become amateur kickboxing world champion in the 67 to 71 kg class with three international organisations. He has been involved in the sport for only four years, and is now sponsored by Lennox to help with the cost of equipment such as gloves, shin guards, boots and boxing trousers. The sponsorship will also help pay for travelling and coaching costs. Marty Wilson says, ‘The sponsorship will be a real help, and I’m happy to display the Lennox name when I fight.’

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
