Prefabrication surges ahead

The market for offsite fabrication is rising at nearly 10% a year, according to a major study by BSRIA. Off-site fabrication has become increasingly popular over the last 10 years. Among the benefits it delivers are time and cost savings, improved quality control and site management. The results of the BSRIA are published in a 130-page market report ‘Off site fabrication — UK attitudes and potential’. Its 130 pages include expert market analysis and detailed recommendations for off-site fabrication. The research is based on an in-depth programme of interviews with over 150 industry users, non-users and suppliers. The report costs £650. Tel. 01344 426511 bookshop@bsria.co.uk
