Air-handling units for hygienic applications

AHU
Specifically designed for sensitive hygienic applications is York’s YMA-C range of air-handling units.
York International has introduced a range of air-handling units for ultra-sensitive hygienic applications and environments such as hospitals, pharmaceutical factories, petrochemical plants and food-processing lines. YMA-C air-handling units deliver airflows from 0.25 to 60 m3/s. Their internal construction has a smooth finish with no obstructions to trap dirt or allow bacteria to build up. If required, the entire interior can be made of stainless steel. There is the option for all floor panels to be sloped to give continuous drainage for all sections and provide maximum opportunity for internal cleaning. These AHUs can be supplied with factory-fitted controls, sensors and control panels. Using York’s SmartPac packaged control system, units can be delivered to site pre-wired, programmed and tested.
