Vaillant Group sets up renewables division

Vaillant, Renewable energy, Solar Thermal, heat pump, DHW

Vaillant Group has set up a specialist renewable-technologies division in a £1 million investment. The company, which operates the Vaillant and Glow-worm brands in the UK, has made the move in anticipation of continuously increasing demand for renewable-energy products and expertise.

Jim Moore, Vaillant Group’s UK and western Europe managing director, says, ‘Often renewable technology will be linked to traditional boilers, so the background of our engineers will be invaluable in terms of part knowledge and support.

‘Many installers will be looking for reassurance and ”on-site” advice during first commissioning or hoping to pick up some best practices to help them grow this art of their business. Having a resource like this will allow us to fulfil all those requirements.

‘This will certainly raise the bar for renewable technology support across the UK, and we believe other companies will follow us as installers begin to demand this level of service from all suppliers.’
