Manor house prepares for change to bio-fuel

A manor house in Sussex has made the first step towards using bio-fuel for heating and hot water by installing a light-oil condensing boiler from Atlantic Boilers. The installation at Glynde Place, home to the Viscount of Hampden, is part of a wider refurbishment.

The R Series boilers installed has a SEDBUK A energy rating and is designed for later changeover to B100 bio-liquid. It is linked to a 50 kW/500 l Expresso DHW plate-heat-exchanger package that meets the full requirement of the house.
