Solar cells manufactured by China Sunergy have reached a conversion efficiency of 20.26% in the pilot R&D line and received certification from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems. These mono-crystalline solar cells achieve this performance using normal wafers.
The company plans to start commercial mass production by the end of 2013.
