Hitachi Samurai chillers qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances

Hitachi, ECA, Chiller, air conditioning

Hitachi Air Conditioning Europe’s Hi Efficiency Samurai chiller RCME now qualifies for Enhanced Capital Allowances, joining the Hi Efficiency Set Free VRF that was listed earlier this year.

The RCME-AH range uses the Hitachi screw compressor, which is optimised for R134a and high part-load efficiencies. seasonal efficiencies up to 5.01 can be achieved, said to be equivalent to chillers with Turbocor compressors.

There are three basic modules offering 106, 132 and 160 kW of cooling. Up to eight modules can be combined to achieve 1280 kW of cooling.
