Mikrofill helps upgrade student accommodation

A services upgrade of St Margaret’s Hall of Resident at Southampton University includes hot-water services provided by equipment from Mikrofill Systems. The equipment was specified by the university and installed by SSE Contracting.

Hot water is now delivered by two Rapide Extreme stainless-steel loading cylinders, compete with 6 kW of immersion heating. In total, these indirect cylinders provide over 5000 l/h of hot water and ensure maximum efficiency from the LPHW plant.
