Carlo Gavazzi adds to Dupline range

Carlo Gavazzi has enhanced its Dupline bus offering for building automation with the introduction of new decentralised analogue-input modules The SHPINNI2 and SHPINA224 devices enable control system to interface with environmental sensors in smart building systems that use any type of environmental sensor with a 0/4 to 20 mA or NI/PT1000 output.

They reduce costs for space-temperature sensing (including anti-ligature), CO2 and humidity monitoring, and picking up hot- and cold-water temperatures for legionella prevention.

These addressable devices are typically installed behind the environmental sensors and wired by simply looping the 2-wire bus cable from sensor to sensor — which is considerably cheaper than a separate connection back to the BMS.

All sensor information is available to the BMS via BACnet over IP or Modbus TCP/IP connection.
