Honeywell will be exhibiting its range of water control products and systems at the Institute of Healthcare & Engineering Estate Management (IHEEM) Conference and Exhibition on 7 and 8 October in Manchester Central, Petersfield, Manchester.

The theme for IHEEM 2014 is ‘Quality in the patient environment’ and will be looking at the changes that have taken place in the NHS and the impact on healthcare estates.

Potable (drinking) water management is of critical importance in buildings dedicated to healthcare.

This is particularly true in the case of legionella, which is an area of risk that faces facility managers of healthcare properties.

The Honeywell stand will exhibit products suitable for reducing the risk of legionella — including the Alwa-Comfort and the Alwa-Kombi-4, used as throttling and balancing valves in potable-water distribution applications wherever more stringent hygienic requirements apply or for reasons of comfort.

The Honeywell water-product portfolio also includes pressure regulation, filtration, backflow prevention and temperature control in homes and large commercial buildings. Consultants, contractors, estates managers and property owners can specify single-source products that are backed up by industry leading technical expertise and a global manufacturing organisation.

A selection of Honeywell’s range of water products will be on display at the IHEEM exhibition.
