Remeha Commercial has moved to a new headquarters building in Wokingham, Innovation House was formally opened by the Mayor of Wokingham Borough Council, UllaKarin Clark (the lady in the centre), and the chairman of CIBSE Patrons David Fitzpatrick (to her right. The occasion also saw the presentation of a cheque for £4700 to Marie Curie Cancer Care, the company’s chosen charity. The money was raised by the company through a variety of fund-raising activities.

Remeha Commercial has based its headquarters in Wokingham since 1984 and now employs some 50 people. Managing director Mark Northcott said, Our fabulous modern surroundings at Innovation House provide us with increased office and meeting space and a dedicated hub to accommodate our growing state-of-the-art training centre.’

The well equipped training centre has a variety of operational kit to provide hands-on experience. There are Quintex 210 and 310 boilers and a Gas 110 boiler. There is also a calorifier served by an air-source heat pump.

The boilers can simulate various types of control, such as the control of three zones at constant temperature or variable temperature. The benefits of a boiler with two return ports to allow for different flow temperatures for different types of heating system can be demonstrated.
