BSS starts charity campaign for Mind

BSS Industrial

BSS Industrial has kick-started its charity partnership with Mind, the mental-health charity, with a colourful balloon race at its head office in Leicestershire. Over the next two years, BSS Industrial hopes to raise £100 000 for Mind.

Managing director Chris Hufflett said, ‘Statistics show that one in four people will experience a mental-health problem in any given year. As a result, we feel that promoting greater awareness and understanding of mental-health issues, with Mind, is very important.’

The company previously worked with Help the Hospices, which supports hospice care. More than £100 000 was raised over two years through sponsored fancy-dress days, gruelling cycle rides across Europe, challenging sailing regattas and a variety of other activities across its branches nationwide.
