Unitrunk secures patent for Uniklip cable-tray system

Unitrunk, Uniklip, cable tray, cable management

Unitrunk has secured a patent for its Uniklip cable-tray system, protecting this innovation for the next 10 years. Developed as part of Unitrunk’s rapid-installation-systems (RIS) philosophy, Uniklip is said to be three times faster to install than conventional cable-tray system, as demonstrated by the YouTube ‘Cheetah challenge’ video.

The system is made from pre-galvanised mild steel and available in light-, medium- and heavy-duty versions.

The snap-and-secure design does not require tools. It makes the system fast to install and provides a consistent and robust fix throughout an installation.

National sales manager Tim Brown says, ‘Our RIS approach has led us to re-engineer all our cable-management solutions to ensure that they help contractors save time and costs on site, while providing a high-quality and durable installation.’
