Munters optimises climate conditions for hydrotherapy pool

Munters, climate control, hydrotherapy, dehumidification

A Munters ProkPool unit now controls the indoor environment of a special-needs swimming pool at a primary school in Scotland, having replaced a unit that was outdated and in poor condition. The 30 m2 hydrotherapy pool at Hillside Primary School in Cummock, East Ayrshire, is used by the school and local community.

The new unit enables a member of staff to adjust the temperature and control the humidity within the pool hall within a varying level, over and above the capabilities of the original unit.

David McCreath of East Ayrshire Council says, ‘The new unit was easy to set up and control, and there have been no problems since it was commissioned.’

The council has since implemented Munters solutions in other schools for a similar purpose.
