GI Energy adds to its range of services

GI Energy, GI Managed Services

GI Energy, which specialises in sustainable energy, has extended its offering with the launch of GI Managed Services to help customers ensure they get the best out of their carbon-friendly heating and cooling systems.

The launch follows a substantial investment that will provide a platform for further expansion and sustainable growth. The new division will offer whole-life maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting and optimisation — including system analysis, control, remote monitoring and performance reporting — not only for ground-source energy systems but also for a number of other renewable-energy technologies.

The development comes shortly after GI Energy expanded the range of renewable technologies it would install to include CHP, air-source heat pumps, demand reduction, power conditioning, solar PV and thermal, and biomass, as well as ground-source energy systems.

Andrew Madeley, head of GI Managed Services, said, ‘We are not weighted towards one particular technology because we can do it all. We can give advice on what carbon savings can be made and, once a system is installed and commissioned, we can monitor the results in real time.’
