Building-services contractor Briggs & Forrester has completed the £2.2 million installation of mechanical and public-health services for the new 800 000 m2 B&Q warehouse in Worksop. Briggs & Forrester took full responsibility for co-ordinating the installation of all building services.. The project involved the construction of a new distribution depot and support buildings, including main offices, gymnasium, canteen and kitchen. Services include warehouse high-velocity ventilation, office ventilation and air conditioning using DX heat-pumps, domestic services, building-management system and extensive underground gas and water services.

Industry urged to see Clean Heat Market Mechanism target as opportunity
