Mikrofill updates services for Solihull School

Heating and hot water for the sports hall of Solihull School, a co-educational school in the centre of the town, is now provided by Mikrofill equipment. The system comprises an Ethos 50 kW condensing boiler, pressurisation package and an Extreme 300 l HWS loading cylinder with unvented kit.

The new equipment provides heating to a variable-temperature circuit in the sports hall and over 1100 l/s of hot water to the shower block.

The Extreme loading cylinder maximises efficiency by operating at a ∆T of 30 K to optimise the performance of the condensing boiler.

The new system was designed and installed by William Austin Engineering Services.
