Lochinvar gets top marks at Southampton schools

College
Woodland Community College in Harefield, Southampton, is one of three colleges for which Lochinvar has supplied water heaters from its Knight and Charger ranges.
Extremely fast recovery of hot water for three community schools in Southampton is provided by 14 water heaters from Lochinvar’s Knight and Charger range of gas-fired water heaters. Woodlands Community College in Harefield has been supplied with two Charger water heaters for the gymnasium, with a further two for the kitchen. Two Knight units provide the main school building with hot water for general use. Similar equipment was also selected for Redbridge Community School and Cantell Community School. The equipment in all three schools was specified by Interserve Engineering Services. These water heaters can be sited close to the demand point and deliver almost instantaneous hot water with far greater efficiency than traditional systems. Insulation reduces standing losses to an absolute minimum.
