Linear diffusers deliver greater airflow

Gilberts, Blackpool, diffuser, ventilation, air conditioning

Gilberts (Blackpool) has extended its range of ceiling and sidewall linear diffusers with the addition of a high-capacity slot option. Series HSL diffusers have wider slots, and a unit with two slots can deliver up to 150 l/s/m with a ceiling or wall cut-out of just 161 mm.

Horizontal and vertical air distribution can be finely controlled without draughts by independent positioning of the directional control vane in each slot. A comprehensive range of plenum boxes enables an easy, airtight connection of these diffusers to most commercial ventilation systems.

Series HSL units can be altered every 2 m as standard, but the insertion of blade cuts and spacer brackets enable alterations to be made at smaller intervals if required.

Long runs can be achieved quickly and easily with a unbroken appearance using Gilberts’ concealed alignment feature.

In-plane and curved units are available as standard. There is a range of border styles for integrating into popular ceiling types. A new plaster border option enables the outer frame to be completely plastered over and concealed so that almost nothing shows.
