Services through walls made easier and quicker

Gripple, cables, pipes, penetrations, wall

Passing electric cables and pipes through drilled holes in walls is made simpler by the Thru-In-1 system that has been acquired by Gripple. The system is now a fully re-branded Gripple product. It was created and launched by Conxa in Sheffield, with the help of Gripple’s Incub division.

The Thru-In-1 system comprises two components — a drill bit with a tungsten-carbide tip and a rigid sleeve that is inserted as the hole is drilled to enable cables and pipes to be passed through walls or floors quickly and easily.

Holes of 16 mm and 22 mm can be produced. The 22 mm sleeve is yellow in line with gas regulations.

Joseph Bloy (pictured), a newly recruited technical salesman with Gripple, says, ‘By eliminating the need to fish cables through walls, we’re making the install significantly easier, and I’m really looking forward to demonstrating this to plumbers and contractors nationwide.’
