Plate heat exchangers delivered in seven days

BSS, BOSS, plate heat exchanger

Fully assembled and tested plate heat exchangers can be supplied by BSS within seven working days of order from a stock of components. Applications for the BOSS i-Series of plate heat exchangers include generating heating and cooling water for large buildings such as colleges, hospitals, offices and sports facilities.

Careful design has reduced the overall dimensions and weight of each model, so they are up to 30% lighter than comparable heat exchangers and also very compact.

The height has been reduced by 10 to 15% by making both the top and bottom bolts act as the carry/guide bar for the plate rack. The length is minimised by eliminating the support column and optimising the bolt length. They are supplied complete with mounting feet and flange studs. They can handle pressure up to 10 bar and temperatures of up to 100°C.

The design of the plates reduces fouling tendencies by promoting turbulence, so cleaning is required less often and there is less risk of local corrosion.

To ensure that all products are fit for purpose, BSS has a dedicated in-house team of experts to provide technical support.

The range consists of three models with nominal thermal outputs of 150 to 7500 kW, 80 to 2500 kW and 10 to 500 kW. All are backed by the BSS one-year warranty.
