Gent offers new ASD interface for FAAST
Gent by Honeywell’s new ASD interface has been developed to enable FAAST’s aspirating-smoke-detection technology to be seamlessly integrated with the company’s Vigilon fire-detection system. This interface is designed to work with the FAAST 8100 (shortly to be rebranded FAAST XM) and FAAST LT ranges.
This ASD interface is compliant with EN 54-17 and enables full Vigilon control panel integration thanks to a combined loop interface and power-supply unit with 24-hour battery back-up via the integrated EN54-4 power-supply unit. The unit is supplied in a bundled kit, complete with batteries and simple connection via a printed circuit board, eliminating the need for end of lines and special cabling between the FAAST system and the loop interface.
