Air-conditioning cassette with presence sensor

Mitsubishi Electric, air conditioning, cassette, VRF

Mitsubishi Electric now offers slim-line air-conditioning cassette units with a built-in sensor that scans the room to detect how many people are in it and turn off the air conditioning if the room is empty. The 3D i-See sensor is available immediately for the Mr Slim and City Multi 600 mm square cassette range. These units are only 245 mm deep above the ceiling.

The SLZ/PLFY cassettes have been designed to make installation easier. They have temporary hanging hooks, a drop-prevention cord and hexagonal screws that can be removed even if the screw hole becomes worn.

A new airflow feature can direct air horizontally across the ceiling, helping to eliminating uncomfortable draughts. A new 3D turbo fan reduces sound levels.
