Externally installed water heaters prove their winter capability

Rinnai
Demonstrating the ability of Rinnai Infinity external water heaters to cope with harsh winter conditions is this site of apartments in upstate New York. A hundred of these continuous-flow water heaters were used to replace other units that were less capable of coping with temperatures down to –31°C. They are installed on the outside of these apartments to provide hot water for showers, baths and sinks. Specialised technology and complete frost proofing means that units can operate at full efficiency, even in sub-zero temperatures. One of the residents said, ‘Since the new Rinnai heaters have been installed, New York has experienced winters as cold as –31°C. Despite these temperatures, the heaters have not frozen, and the residents have enjoyed a continuous flow of hot water. We are all looking forward to another freeze-free winter.’
