Fan-coil units are designed for exposed services

Advanced Air, exposed fan coil unit, air conditioning

Advanced Air has developed a range of fan-coil units aimed at the trend to leaving services exposed and not having a false ceiling. These units are streamlined to match the high aesthetic standard required. For example, all pipework and electrical connections are in one area at the rear of the unit to shorten the distance between the FCU and the centralised distribution network of pipes and cables.

The outer casing has smooth lines and can be painted in any colour or have a metal polish finish.

The unit incorporates all of the standard components and includes a built-in acoustic attenuator and condensate pump. It can be supplied with an internally mounted EPIV (electronic pressure independent valve) or PICV (pressure-independent control valve) 2-port hook-up sets and BACnet controller.

Dispensing with a false ceiling enables 1960’s buildings to be refurbished to provide modern office space. The company has recently completed three projects using these FCUs.
