Fast response restores comfortable humidity

Humidity Solutions, humidification

A fast response by Humidity Solutions to provide two mobile humidifiers enabled Process Systems Enterprise (PSE) to quickly restore comfortable, healthy conditions following a power failure. PSE supplies advanced process-modelling software and model-based engineering and innovation services to process industries. A power failure at its headquarters in west London recently disabled the climatic control in the building.

The result was a reduction in relative humidity, leading to complaints of dry eyes, cracked lips and static shock from machines. Humidity Solutions supplied two mobile humidifiers the next day.

PSE finance director Brian McKenzie says, ‘Some of our staff were complaining of becoming less productive following the temporary failure of the climatic controls, so we were delighted that Humidity Solutions was able to react so quickly and efficiently.’
