BSRIA sets up northern facilities in Preston

BSRIA has opened an office and laboratory complex in Preston to serve the north of England. It includes a training suite for many of the BSRIA courses, and Instrument Solutions has expanded its equipment-hire, calibration and sales operations into this northern base.

The state-of-the art Preston laboratory has been custom built and offers accredited calibrations for measurement parameters such as pressure and temperature, which complements the supply of products from the rental fleet as well as from the sales portfolios.

Equipment for hire and sale direct from stock includes digital micromanometers from TSI and DP Measurements, thermometers from Testo and electronic test sets for commissioning water systems from Comdronic and Poddymeter.

BSRIA North, as it is known, has received ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of Registration covering equipment hire, calibration and sales operations.

BSRIA’s 2017 programme of training courses will run for the first time from the Preston premises. Supported by BSRIA’s technical guides, these courses range from introductions for non-engineers or those new to the industry through to specialist training for practitioners.
