Modern boiler plant combines with plate heat exchangers to deliver more efficient heating and hot water to a 10-storey block of flats.
Replacing old and inefficient heating and hot-water systems in a privately owned block of flats with high-performance boilers and other equipment from Stokvis has significantly improved fuel efficiency and comfort for occupants. The project at Southbury Court involved replacing three outdated steel boilers and forced-draught burners with a pair of Stokvis Econoflame R2708 boilers and two E4A19 Econoplate heat exchangers to meet the heating and hot-water requirements of the 35 flats. Stokvis also supplied an Econopress unit to maintain adequate pressure throughout the 10-storey building. Vican Consultants specified the plant, which was installed by Daystone Services.
