Morpeth Hospital installs HRS Hevac DHW generators

HRS Hevac
DHW for Morpeth Hospital is produced by 27 Aquasave Bios units from HRS Hevac.
HRS Hevac has supplied 27 Aquasave Bios units to generate domestic hot water for a variety of applications in Morpeth Hospital. These semi-instantaneous units combine the instant generation of DHW with a buffer capacity. Compactly designed and fully packaged, these water heaters have a primary pump and stainless-steel secondary charging pump. They also incorporate a plate heat exchanger, with a choice of sizes from 46 to 177 kW, and an insulated stainless-steel buffer vessel with storage capacity for 300 to 1500 litres. All the power supplied to the heat exchanger is converted directly to hot water at a usable temperature, which flows directly to the stop of the storage tank, from where it is drawn off. Aquasave Bio water heaters thus deliver hot water in proportion to the power input even if the buffer vessel is empty. Stored hot water is only drawn off if the demand exceeds the available boiler power.
