Asking for success

Grundfos Pumps

The Haberdashers’ Aske School in Elstree is a leading independent school for girls of 4 to 18 years old. Originally established in 1875, it is a well-respected name within the education sector. Their aim is to help each pupil attain their individual potential.

This forward-thinking attitude seeps into many other aspects relating to the school and can for example be seen following through into recent building improvement works. F G Alden, building services engineers from Oxford were tasked with delivering a new project and turned to Grundfos Pumps to help them to deliver the best pump solution.

With energy efficiency a key driver in the school’s overall ambitions, both parties focussed on this aspect to deliver the best M&E result. The outcome was a complete, integrated state-of-heart HVAC and water boosting pump package. This included the most advanced pump technological solutions available to the market such as the Grundfos MAGNA3 commercial circulators and TPE2 single stage in-line pumps, as well as the Hydro MPC-E booster set.

Maintaining a leading-edge position, regardless of the sector you operate in, can be challenging, however, by linking up with people with the right expertise, the results can be exceptional.
