H&V07 wins industry backing
H&V07, the national event for the H&V industry that takes place every other year, will be fully supported by three leading trade associations. FETA (Federation of Environmental Trade Associations), HVCA (Heating & Ventilating Contractors’ Association) and ICOM Energy Association (Industrial & Commercial Energy Association) have all declared their support. The show runs at the NEC from 27 February to 1 March 2007. Cedric Sloan, director general of FETA, says, ‘After the welcome success of H&V05, we are delighted to give our full backing to H&V07 — an event which fulfils the sector’s huge demand for a national industry showcase alongside the well-established RAC07 show.’ RAC07 covers the refrigeration and air-conditioning sectors. Robert Higgs, director of HVCA, says, ‘Representatives of HVCA member companies who attended the 2005 launch event were unanimous in their praise for the quality of the show. A good cross-section of the major brands were present, whilst the seminar programme and skills centre proved genuinely informative. We are pleased, therefore, to be associated with H&V07 and to be involved with Emap in its development.’ Peter McCree, director and chief executive of ICOM Energy Association, says, ‘H&V07 is the right event for our members to show the industry the innovation at work in the industrial and commercial boiler sector. We are looking forward very much to H&V07. It’s the centrepiece event the H&V industry needs.’ Event director Rowan Crowley tells us, ‘We are developing several new initiatives for H&V07, and we are confident that it has all the right ingredients to build on its successful debut. We look forward to working with the industry to ensure that H&V07 delivers.’
