Air conditioning adds to prestige of Peugeot dealership makeover

Daikin
Comprehensive air conditioning for the ‘Blue Box’ makeover of the Peugeot Warwick Wright dealership at Chiswick is provided by Daikin VRV equipment.
As part of the prestigious ‘Blue Box’ makeover by Peugeot of the Warwick Wright dealership on London’s Chiswick roundabout, a fully air-conditioned split-level extension has been added to the existing showroom. The site is also the headquarters for the dealership’s fleet sales. It has floor-to ceiling glazing and comprises reception, new-car showroom and offices at ground-floor level. The light and airy showroom includes café-style relaxation for clients and children’s play areas — both aspects of the Blue Box concept. Air conditioning for the ground floor is supplied by a combination of Daikin ceiling-mounted cassette and ceiling-concealed ducted fan-coil units for the offices and 4-way-blow cassettes for the customer sales area. A new fleet sales facility at mezzanine level comprises cellular offices, meeting room, communications room and open-plan marketing and administration area. Conditioned air is via ducted units concealed in the ceiling and ceiling-mounted linear strip diffusers. The secure communications room houses the central control console for the VRV system and is air-conditioned by a Daikin wall-mounted split system. All VRV outdoor condensing units are outside at mezzanine-floor level, along with new air-handling plant that supplies tempered fresh air to the new-car showroom and associated offices on the ground and mezzanine floors. A new covered display area for used cars has been created at ground level, with adjacent offices supplied with treated air via a Daikin heat-reclaim unit.
