Out-of-the-box energy management

Merlin
Existing network infrastructure can be used by Merlin Gerin’s PowerLogic EGX400 Ethernet gateway to provide direct access to utility consumption and other energy-management information. It is operated via a web browser. Once its IP address is set, the unit can be configured using its accompanying web-page generator. Security is provided by passwords for three profiles and an administrator. The EGX400 can monitor up to 62 devices and continuously log over a month of data at 15-min intervals. Historical data can be presented in a time-trend plot, and log data can be copied for pasting into other software.
