Sontay boosts customer services

Sontay, which specialises in control peripheral products, has introduced online tracking of orders, an auto-update initiative to improve project management and information flow for customers and an enhanced web site. The order-tracking service was developed in response to customer feedback and automatically notifies customers of order dispatches via e-mail when using its courier service providers. The service then allows real-time tacking of parcels and offers site delivery monitoring, enabling customers to monitor and co-ordinate delivery timings and site visits more easily. Options include a primary e-mail address for all dispatches and a specific order-notification facility for project managers or site engineers. The auto-update service provides registered customers with the latest product information. The enhanced web site provides a one-stop-shop for all building-measurement and control peripherals. Sontay claims produce the most comprehensive controls peripherals offering to the UK building-services market.
